Which talks about script writing (again) and a movie

Script Frenzy starts tomorrow and I am totally pumped, man! Okay, I'm not totally pumped. I'm more scared. I've never written a script before, let alone a screenplay. Plus, basically, I'm scared that it'll suck. But then I realise that I shouldn't even be scared for a few reasons:

1. Nobody but me has to read it.
2. It's just a draft. So it's supposed to suck.
3. 100 pages in script format is not that long
4. I now have something to procrastinate over!

And procrastination is always fun.

In other news, American Gods* is being turned into a movie! Which I'm quite pleased about. Although, I had always thought of it as being better suited as a television series - purely because it's got a very detailed plot line and I think a 6 to 8 episode series would do it much more justice than smooshing everything into a 2 hour movie.

My posts are never long. But they'll probably get longer, as I procrastinate more through the month of April while writing my script.

*American Gods by Neil Gaiman is a book you must read. Read it and thank me later.

  1. You'll do fine - procrastination is a tool for PURE AWESOME.

Also - I think I might have to find a way to read this script.

AND Also - I now have to read American Gods.
