Which talks about shopping and photos and shoes

Lauren and I had our shopping trip yesterday (yay!) and while I didn't end up getting exactly what I went in for (I wanted some new sneakers..), I did get some nice spoils. Which is good, 'cause I usually don't buy many things for myself..I'm not much of a wanter.

I ended up getting two tshirts and a little bag. I am a little bit obsessed with t-shirts, and them and jeans and a nice jacket is basically my staple wardrobe (unless I'm required to look nice..in which case it's a dress....and boots). That being said, I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing subtle variations of the same thing everyday. As my sister pointed out - you're basically like a comic book character, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I also got my second roll of film developed! On my first roll of film I used the view finder a lot, and the photos came out perfectly framed and lovely. On my second roll, I skipped using the viewfinder all together and the results were varied. Some turned out as really lovely fluke shots - others had peoples heads chopped off. It's all part of a learning experience though, and snapping away with a film camera is so much fun!

Here are some of the results:

This is my sister. Snapped at the Sydney Opera House when we went to see Amanda Palmer (thus the Amanda Palmer poster in the background). I really like how it turned out, despite the over exposed left hand side (entirely my doing - I accidentally opened the camera back before the film was fully rewound).

This is out the front of the Opera House (obviously..), and again, the over exposed side because of my folly..But I think it turned out nice.

And lastly, one of Lauren and Duong.

I think I posted all of the dodgy pics on here. There are lots of lovely in frame ones that I've posted up on my Lomo profile. So if you feel so inclined you can have a squizz at them on there.

I've found that whenever I want a new pair of sneakers, and I find a pair that I really like, they never have my size. It's a real pain, and it keeps happening to me.

Anyway, I saw these yesterday and I really like them and they didn't have my size. Massive fail.
