My last post ended rather abruptly. I got distracted halfway, by realising that The Wombats had released their Australian tour dates, and their tickets for Sydney were already on sale! So I had to quickly buy two and in my excitement my blog went unfinished.
I've been waiting to see the Wombats for a while now. Well, since 2008 when they last came down here and did sideshows. I didn't end up seeing them then, due to the Fratellis playing on the same night (or it might have been the night after...). Either way, I had to choose between them and the Fratellis, and the Fratellis obviously came first. And it was a good decision, considering the Fratellis are on a "break" at the moment, and the Wombats are still together...
Also, I've finished War of the Worlds, and am now onto reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Most people who know me would know that Neil Gaiman is one of my favourite authors (after Douglas Adams) and reading Good Omens, or anything by Neil for that matter, just makes me think of Adams writing style. And that makes me happy. Straight to the point with round about reasonings make me happy.
On the weekend I'm going shopping with Noble, during which I should really get my latest roll of film developed as it's finally finished and I can't wait to see what photos I've taken. I know that the last half of the roll would be from Wesley's party, and then the middle from the Amanda Palmer concert, but I think there are some miscellaneous ones at the start there and it'll be interesting to see what they're of.
In the meantime, here's a photo from my first roll, of my cat Tod, doing what he does best (being a poser while I take happy snaps of him).
